DFS Toastmasters is committed to training you to become a better speaker while building your leadership skills. We are a local Tallahassee Toastmasters Club and have been meeting regularly for more than 10 years. Given our tough economy, it is up to you to make an effort to build your soft skills. Toastmasters is the most cost effective way to build leadership and public speaking skills through weekly meetings. Our local club, DFS Toastmasters, is committed to working with you to improve your speaking skills, reduce your fear of speaking, and build your confidence as a speaker. The Toastmasters program has been around since 1924, educating millions of men and women to be more confident in front of an audience. We welcome you to visit our club, DFS Toastmasters, Thursdays at 12pm in Room 116 of the Larson Building.

Take a deep breath, contact us to let us know you will be attending our next meeting on Thursday at 12pm at the Larson Building in downtown Tallahasssee. Our club has a nice mix of new and established members, shy speakers as well as confident communicators. Our meetings encourage a friendly and safe atmosphere for you to hone your public speaking skills. Toastmasters has two educational programs, Leadership and Communications, which allow you to build leadership and speaking skills at your own pace. Our club offers constructive evaluations after each of the speeches and roles you perform as a member. Each of our educational tracks has ten projects to complete to advance to the next level. It has been demonstrated that new speakers and leaders are able to build upon the skills learned in each subsequent project. DFS Toastmasters also offers mentors to help navigate the Toastmasters program and to offer advice and comments as you progress towards your ultimate goal. DFS Toastmasters would love to have the opportunity to help you become a professional speaker, become less introverted, or speak more freely with your supervisors, families, and friends.
